2016 - 2020

I started a tech company in 2016 with the mission to prevent sexual harassment around the world. We saw a big boost when the #metoo movement came the year after.

In 2019 we decided to pivot into retail, which got hit hard by the coronavirus that ultimately led to our defeat.

I was the CEO with product and brand ownership.

2016

Before starting the company, I did a lot of research and had collaborations with companies, festivals and organisations already in place.

I created wireframes with an easy user experience in mind that would make the most sense for the first MVP release.

Once we knew what to develop, I started to add visual treatment.

2017

After the first release, I started to ask for user feedback and think more about the business model.

People from over 80 countries had signed up to help and support each other out in the street, the workplace and at home.

We were nominated to Swedish Heroes, was featured over 50 times in articles around Sweden and advanced to final positions in various startup competitions.

2018

We came up with an idea to develop hardware for festivals, to make every single visitor feel safe. Together with PwC, we made the first functional prototype.

A project called Night Owl.

Vinnova granted us $30,000 to help with the production.

2019

We failed to get the investment we needed to proceed with our mission. The business model wasn’t strong enough.

Instead of giving up the entrepreneurial dream, we came up with another idea. Helping physical retail to connect with their customers digitally.

We started with pop-up shops which went really good. Over 300 shops featured around the world in less than 3 months.

2020

The future looked really bright up until the Covid-19 struck down upon the world. Retail got hit extra hard and put a stop to all of our future plans.

We wanted to create a better live shopping experience and form strong relationships between the customer and the sales associate.
